The Service Futures Lab Team
The Lab runs with a core team of staff from the RCA Service design department constantly working alongside students and graduates from the RCA Service Design course as well our advisers and partners for each lab.
About our team
As part of the design research partnership with Telefonica Alpha Health, the Service Design program at the RCA aimed to explore and develop future scenarios and service visions, design and deliver service concepts and build tangible experimental prototypes about AI enabled service platforms in the fields of happiness, mental health and wellbeing.
RCA Service Design decided to build upon this research effort and create the Service Futures Lab to explore future scenarios and innovative design propositions for tackling grand challenges, and develop and prototype future service offerings for relevant verticals in the private and public sectors.
In addition to our team, the Alpha Health Lab benefitted from the direct collaboration and expertise of our partners from Telefonica Alpha (now Koa Health). In addition the lab had the full-time support of additional dedicated staff, a plethora of incredible advisors, designers in residence and students from two cohorts on the RCA Service Design course. We extend our thanks to everyone involved for their contribution and for being friends of the Lab.
